Renovage - A Key Ingredient In Idrotherapy Wrinkle Reducer

In this post I will try to bring some light on the other active agent used in Idrotherapy - Renovage. Most of you know that Idrotherapy has two active anti wrinkle substances - Matrixyl and Renovage. What Is Renovage?

Sederma, the company behind Renovage, defines it as an "effective active ingredient that acts as both a cell facilitator and corrector" counteracting the cutaneous dysfunction. This dysfunction is the main property that can lead to the aging of skin cells. 

Sederma also says that the ingredient's main benefit is its "ability to avoid premature cell aging".

How can Renovage [Idrotherapy] help your skin?

Renovage acts with a component of the DNA of the skincells, called telomeres. Telomeres appear as caps on the strands of DNA that are found within the skin and have a finite life span, and they shorten as time passes.

As time passes and these telomeres start to shorten, the effects of aging on the skin - wrinkles, fine lines, redness, sun spots, etc. become visible.

A recent study of 24 volunteers showed that a 3% concentration of Renovage exerted significant and visible activity on both the functional and structural signs of ageing:

· Skin hydration and its barrier function were increased

· Pigmented spots were lessened by 56% after 6 months

· Skin firmness increased by 35% and skin tone by 45% in one month

· Skin’s overall texture improved; roughness decreased

· Lines, wrinkles, large pores and skin redness were reduced

What does this picture tells us?

1. Redness has reduced significantly. 

2. Wrinkles, fine lines and crow's feet are drastically reduced. 

3. The skin has a much more even tone and the correct amount of moisture!

What's even more incredible:

The lifespan of the cells was increased by over 33%

Increased resistance to the very dangerous and harmful UVB sun damage rays by 100% .

These facts are so amazing but I wanted more real life examples, not these official study results.

I’m 65 and I've had rosacea since about 30. It comes and goes, better and worse, with no reason, but seems to be worse since menopause. I've used various antibiotics and metrogel and finacea on and off as needed. I recently started using products with Renovage and within a few days the redness was gone and my skin looks very normal now with no breakouts… The Renovage also shrinks large pores and smooths your skin, but can be a little oily here in Phoenix summer.

Hope you are all doing ok.

I'm a little bit sad these days cause I can see the summer coming to its end but that's just me, every year.

I have a friend of mine who is even more addicted to summer and sun than me. I told her about Idrotherapy about a month ago and she said she'd give it a try. It's a free trial so it can't hurt.

Well, guess what ... she called me yesterday and said Idrotherapy is a scam and doesn't work as they [and I] say. Since I've already seen excellent results on my face I knew right then that there was something preventing Idrotherapy from acting effectively.

Hey girls,

Sorry for not showing up last week to talk more about Idrotherapy wrinkle reducer but I have a super valid excuse. My son turned 7 on 08.08 and I had some stuff to arrange for the party. It's all over now, everybody's happy as can be so I can go back to my Idrotherapy review.

Today I want to talk about one of the two active agents that make Idrotherapy work so well and so fast.

It is called Matrixyl and you may or may not have heard of it. It became popular only the last few years as a very powerful antiaging weapon.

What is Matrixyl? Wikipedia Style :)

Matrixyl, otherwise known as Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 or Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 is a peptide increasingly being used in skin care formulations. Matrixyl is included in skin care treatments for its ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles as effectively as retinol, but without the skin irritation associated with retinol’s use.

Matrixyl was developed by Sederma SA. It is made up of five amino acids that are linked together and attached to a fatty acid. The fatty acid component of the molecule increases Matrixyl’s absorption into the skin. Matrixyl is structurally related to the precursor of collagen type I (procollagen type I) and studies have shown that it stimulates the synthesis of the key constituents of the skin matrix: collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans.

How Does Matrixyl Work? 

As we all know Collagen is the main building block of skin, giving the skin its smooth, and youthful appearance. As we grow older, collagen is lost, and this gives way to aged, wrinkled looking skin. When the long strands of amino acids in collagen are broken down they create small chains commonly referred to as peptides. The presence of these peptides signal to the skin that it has lost collagen and the production of more is necessary.

Matrixyl  works to mimic the appearance of this broken down collagen, causing your skin to react by producing more collagen, as well as elastin and  hyaluronic acid so your skin has a healthy look and improved elasticity.

The way I see it applying Idrotherapy [Matrixyl] on our skin we say

"Hey skin! Wake up! You're getting older! You need to start producing more collagen to stay healthy and good looking!"

What I like here is that the rejuvenation process mimics the nature's way. Our bodies know what to do to keep us alive and kicking so why don't we use this knowledge to gain a better and younger look?

Idrotherapy [Matrixyl] Side Effects

Idrotherapy has been developed after long scientific research and many experimental trials and there have been no evidence  for any negative side effects of using Matrixyl.

Being the ultra suspicious person I am, I searched for more case studies. I read about a fact I feel the need to warn you about because I don't want to mislead you.

For genuine motion wrinkles, Matrixyl is unlikely to be of much benefit, perhaps it could do a bit in some cases, but chances are not high 

This means that if you are bellow 30 and have some horizontal lines on your forehead and crow's feet when smiling you probably won't notice any significant results. 

For those of us that are 35+ years old the days of motion wrinkles are long gone. I believe it's us that Idrotherapy was created for and I already see the results.

My Idrotherapy Review - Part 2

Ok, ladies, ready to smash those wrinkles? In this post I will continue to share my experience with Idrotherapy wrinkle eraser product. And let me tell you one thing - it is great!

 If you've read my first post then you know that I ordered my Idrotherapy free trial jar in a very emotional moment of my life when I was feeling desperate. I kept asking myself how come my face got aged without me noticing the signs and taking care of my skin.

 I applied for the trial offer and crossed my fingers hoping that there were still trials available. I counted the hours and after 3 days - SURPRISE - I got my Idrotherapy jar.

Now the quantity in the trial jar may look quite unsufficient but it lasted my for 3 weeks - enough to prove its effectiveness.

Just to share I didn't tell anyone about this - my mother, my husband and even the kids were completely unaware I was going to try Idrotherapy. I kept this little secret because I wanted to be the only one disappointed in case things didn't go well for me.

I resisted the urge to apply the Idrotherapy cream that same night and went to bed with big hopes. The next morning I got up earlier than the others, washed and cleaned my face and opened the "Magic jar" [that's how I still call it even if my kids won't stop laughing at me].

So the Idrotherapy cream has a very light texture and is extremely easy to apply. I did watch some how-to videos the previous night so I could apply it like the pros. At first it felt a little greasy and I almost panicked because I have this oily skin with hu-u-uge pores but after a couple of minutes my skin felt like silk velvet.

I still had the lines across my forehead and the crow's feet but the feeling was completely different. It was like my skin has awaked from a deep sleep.

 I was too curious and almost forgot to wake my kids for the kindergarten. After I drove them to the kindergarten I went to the groceries for a super quick shopping tour and almost flied back home.

I had to research more information about this Idrotherapy antiaging thing because I wanted to be completely sure it won't damage my skin and my health. See, I thought if it had this amazing effect after only a single application than most certainly there was some secret genetic modification involved.

So ... Idrotherapy has 2 active agents - Renovage and Matrixyl. I 'll post more information about how they work in the next couple of days.

Man, with all the scams going around we are lost. But assuming you are a pretty girl aged 30+ I think I have a great deal for ya.

Hey, I'm Ara

Before we go and dissect this new Idrotherapy miracle wrinkle eraser let me introduce myself. My name is Ara and I'm a 39 years old mother to 2 lovely boys.

I've always looked younger for my real age until a couple of months ago I looked at myself in the mirror [that happens once a month - really, who has time to stare at a mirror face when kids are breaking the house?] and was shocked. For the first time I saw these ugly lines along my forehead, that scary crow's feet on my sides and the whole tired look of my face... OMG! Have I been blind or what?

The reality struck me deeply and I almost gave in depression. Thank God the kids were at the kindergarten that day so I dragged myself to the computer and began googling and reading and googling and reading until I was completely overwhelmed with information and products that all seemed too good to be true. I desperately needed advice. Really, how is one supposed to decide on which anti aging product to buy?
